Architectural Drawing: A two-day Masterclass – Part II

Use the inspiring architecture of London and the world-class architectural collections of the RIBA to develop your drawing abilities and learn new creative skills. You will learn how to observe the built environment and progress your drawing skills in different media. Suitable for all abilities, in this two-day workshop (23 June and 30 June) you will be led by artist and teacher Wilson Yau who will guide you in the studio and through visits to the Wallace Collection and the RIBA.

Throughout the course, you will create using a range of media, from traditional paper-based techniques using pencil and pen, to experimenting with contemporary digital drawing using iPads. By the end of the workshop you will have produced a portfolio of architectural drawings, learned new ways of creating images of the built environment and gained a broader understanding of architectural history. This workshop will involve some drawing and walking outdoors on both days - weather permitting. All materials and equipment are included.

This is a two-day event taking place over two weekends (23 June and 30 June). You must have booked your place before 23 June to participate.
