Chicken Run 2018

The Architects Benevolent Society (ABS) and Bennetts Associates would like to join forces with the London Festival of Architecture in 2018 for the annual ABS Chicken Run event to be held on Saturday 23 June.

The ABS Chicken Run is a chance for architectural professionals and students (and anyone else) to come together for a fun run which takes place in the heart of London. The 5km route takes in some of London’s best known landmarks and views, as well as some residential and business areas, which represent our thriving and ever changing capital city. The run will culminate in an after-party with food, drinks, prizes, music and more in Bennetts Associates' courtyard in Clerkenwell.

As a charity dedicated to helping the wider architectural community in times of need, the ABS responds to individuals; everyone helped has experienced difficulties in a set of circumstances unique to them. But what unites everyone is their identity as creative, innovative and driven individuals committed to designing spaces for people to live, work and play.

The ABS Chicken Run brings together people of all ages and stages in their training and careers in the built environment, and from different practices, from small to large. It is a great event, with an emphasis on enjoyment, achievement, networking and fundraising for the ABS.

And, aside from the shared professional identity, how will you identify the runners on the day? Chicken themed accessories (not compulsory)!
