One of the most iconic buildings of Georgian Britain, Chiswick House was built in 1729 to the designs of its owner Lord Burlington. Primarily inspired by Roman antiquity, this architectural gem also evokes the work of architects Andrea Palladio and Inigo Jones. As well as explaining the significance of the building itself, we focus on sumptuous interiors with a superb collection of paintings and furniture including many works by the famous multi-talented designer William Kent.
The tour is Free with standard House admission: £7.50 for adults and £5.00 concessions. Prebooking is not required, but please arrive promptly to start at 12.
