Get inspired by engineering at Crossrail’s Farringdon station

Crossrail is delivering the Elizabeth line - a new railway for London and the South East. Stretching from Reading and Heathrow in the west, through 42km of new tunnels under London to Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east the railway will run through 41 stations, including 10 new stations.

The Elizabeth line will open through central London in December this year. New state-of-the-art trains will carry an estimated 200 million passengers per year. The new service will speed up journey times, increase central London’s rail capacity by 10% and bring an extra 1.5 million people to within 45 minutes of central London.

We have reserved 5 pairs of tickets to Crossrail's Farringdon station site open day on Friday 15 June exclusively for those taking part in the London Festival of Architecture. The open day event is being held as part of the Year of Engineering campaign. These tickets will be in very high demand so we are operating a balloted, random draw.
