Identities of Play

This research exhibition will present the ongoing work of Max Dewdney Architect’s vision for 700 Playgrounds for London including a selection of Aldo Van Eyke’s built 700 Playgrounds for Amsterdam (1947-1978) and Isamu Noguchi’s playscapes for children in Japan and the US.

The exhibition will include scaled plans, drawings, photographs, texts, models and a new research map of one of the London Borough’s existing and potential play areas. The exhibition will be accompanied by an interactive workshop for adults and children and a panel discussion on the future of play.
