Decolonizing Architecture // Resistance in the City

Through a series of conversations, debates and workshops, 'Decolonizing Architecture' explores new and alternate forms of urbanisms that challenge the direct and indirect effects of colonialism. We seek to explore this topic to help reconstruct/restructure conventional approaches to urbanization, in an effort to dismantle inequality in our cities, and promote cultural integration/social cohesion.

Panel // Resistance in the City

This panel is an opportunity to converse with creatives whose disciplines are engaged with identity and space. We will explore the intimate relationships various members of the community have with the city and its architecture by looking at how their work challenges existing conditions.

We hope you will be part of the conversation and join us in on our efforts to challenge traditional architectural practice and discourse, and dismantle inequality in our cities.
