The iconic London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games track cycling venue will host a panel discussion and Q and A on the story behind how Lee Valley VeloPark was created and designed, how it delivers the cycling legacy from the Games every day and the phenomenal growth of cycling for sport, fitness, leisure and travel. A panel will be made up of:
• Mike Taylor, Hopkins architect who designed the multi award winning iconic building
• Shaun Dawson, Chief Executive of Lee Valley Regional Park Authority which owns Lee Valley VeloPark and whose vision led firstly to the creation of the venue with four cycling disciplines in one place and then to an hugely successful post Games programme
• Andy Farr, British Cycling’s Head of Business Planning and Transformation
• Chaired by Peter Murray, Curator-in-Chief of New London Architecture and a keen cyclist
