Greener & Cleaner Community Hub Pilot – Using Shopping Centre Units – What and Why

05 June 2024

16:00 -17:30

The Greener & Cleaner Hub: A Shopping Centre based Model for Empowering Communities:

Have you ever wondered how each of us can make a real difference for the wellbeing and future of our communities? Come learn about how this question triggered the volunteers at Greener & Cleaner to set up their popular Community Hub in The Glades over 2 years ago, open 5 days a week, serving 1000+ a month.

Join us for a captivating panel discussion about this model for facilitating and normalising wider and more active engagement with sustainability at a local level, based at the pilot community Hub itself.

The Greener & Cleaner Community Hub is a valued local resource and important pilot for communities across the UK. Visit the innovative Hub pilot and hear about its potential to revolutionize public engagement with sustainable living while strengthening communities.

Here's what you'll discover:
• The Inspiration Behind the Hub:
Uncover the social and environmental needs that sparked the creation of the Hub.
• The Hub Model Explained: Breaking down the G&C Community Hub concept, who runs it, what areas it covers and how it empowers individuals and groups to engage with sustainability at a local level.
• Empowering Our Communities:
Learn about the engaging activities, resources, and volunteer opportunities offered at the Hub, and how they contribute to social, economic, and environmental well-being locally.

But wait, there's more!

The discussion doesn't end there! Participate in a lively Q&A session and explore other inspiring examples of sustainability initiatives. We encourage you to bring and share your own examples of community sustainability projects. This is a chance to learn from each other and explore innovative ideas for a greener future.

Don't miss this chance to learn in more detail about this very practical, inclusive and effective approach to community engagement!

Join our esteemed panel:
