Love in Marylebone

A walk through the superb and varied town house architecture of Marylebone to see buildings associated with famous love affairs in and near Wimpole Street. A flower girl, a call girl, a cellist, poets, politicians and many others have been associated with Marylebone over the years, often causing scandal and sometimes even disgrace. Their stories are closely connected with the houses they lived in – from sordid bedsits or crowded mews flats to grand mansions with many servants, and even a surrealist interior designer. We also have a chance to admire some perfect examples of Georgian town houses in London, and you may never look at letter boxes in the same way again! And you also hear about an adventurous dog.
