Tranquil City is teaming up with placemakers LDA Design to invite you to experience Strand through a new lens—how it feels. This guided walking study explores how the street’s radical redesign affects wellbeing, belonging, and connection to nature in central London.
Participants will take part in live research throughout the London Festival of Architecture in June, contributing insights that help measure emotional and sensory impact. Discover how design influences not just movement, but how we relate to place, nature, and each other, and how it can deliver real social value.

We'll be starting at the junction of Waterloo Bridge (north) and Strand. There'll be signage to help people locate the starting point, with the Tranquil City and LDA team there to meet you.
