The London School of Architecture’s Dalston Pavilion

03 June - 24 June

12:00 -18:00

The London School of Architecture's Dalston Pavilion draws inspiration from mid-sixteenth century 'cabinets of curiosities' that showcased artefacts from the natural world. Constructed as a series of A-Frames and openable in-fill panels, the pavilion can be configured to host a range of events, such as talks, panel discussions, workshops and film-screenings in collaboration with Young Hackney, Rio Cinema and other partners.

This project continues the LSA’s founding mission to improve diversity within the creative industries. Driven by the LSA’s Part 0 initiative that works with 11-19 year olds, the Pavilion’s public programmes celebrates the capacity that young people have to shape their surroundings as well as demystifying the different pathways to careers in the creative industries. By investing in the potential of young people at the earliest stage possible, we aim to address systemic inequalities and build the resilience of our local community!

The Pavilion has been designed and built in collaboration with Arup and New School of Furniture Making with generous donations from WISA and Latham Timber.
