Discover the hidden stories of South Bank, from medieval marshland and riverside industry to the world-class cultural district we know today - shaped as much by people as by buildings.

Between Waterloo Bridge and Blackfriars Bridge, this guided walk explores lost breweries, timber wharves, power stations and forgotten spaces, transformed by the arrival of Waterloo Station and the legacy of the Festival of Britain - moments that brought people together and reshaped how the area is experienced.

Beyond the famous landmarks, uncover the shared histories that continue to define South Bank as a place to connect and belong.
