South Ken Green Trail – Designers Talks

In 2021 we introduced Designers Talk. A new video series featuring exclusive interviews with winners of past and present LFA competitions.

Designers Talk kicked off with South Ken Green Trail, a design competition that aims to support biodiversity and the recovery of London’s arts and science district.

Launched earlier in the summer of 2021 in collaboration with Discover South Kensington, South Ken Green Trail featured three ‘green interventions’ on Exhibition Road:

The Algae Meadow by Seyi Adelekun and Wayward for the Victoria & Albert Museum

Home Away from Hive by Mizzi Studio for the Science Museum

Windflower by Urban Radicals in collaboration with Adam Harris for the Goethe Institut London

Designers Talk are informal chats with competitions winners about their installation, what inspired them to submit a proposal and their experience working with the LFA team, and lastly what the competition meant for their career and future opportunities.
